Who am I?

That is the million dollar question.

I got lost.

So lost.

Who is this boy named Troy?

A football player.

A bodybuilder.

A dad.

A personal trainer.

A coach.

A dude.

A Spiritual Warrior.

Divorced.

A fitness enthusiast.

A cyclist.

A golfer.

All of those things are great.

But, who am I?

Emasculated.

My inner power got stripped away.

I looked everywhere to figure out who I am.

Always searching outside of myself.

Trying to figure it out.

You are not enough as you are so you have to become somebody.

Create an identity.

Image is everything.

False front.

Pretend.

Facade.

Mask.

I am so confused.

Who the hell am I?

Religion, will you please tell me who I am?

World, will you tell me who I am?

Family, will you tell me who I am?

So many identities.

So many people to please.

What’s a man to do?

Drink a lot.

Exercise a lot.

Unfulfilled relationships.

It never worked once.

Who am I?

I know.

I am.

That’s it.

I am.

Nothing to add to I am.

Unlimited.

Whole.

Be my own man.

That is always enough.

Be comfortable in my own skin.

Head lifted.

Chest up.

Feet rooted into the ground.

I am that I say I am.

Confident.

Strong.

Energetic.

Magnetic.

Magnanimous.

I know who I am.

Nothing can ever hurt me.

I am always safe.

I am Source.

Source is me.

Be my own man.

Jesus was his own man.

He always knew who he was.

I can do the same.

I will do things greater than he.

Only if I am my own man.

If I don’t believe in myself,

Who will?

Humility paves the way.

Never apologize for being my own man.

Jesus didn’t.

It got him killed.

He spoke the truth.

He was authentic.

Consequences be damned.

I don’t need to be liked.

Just be my own man.

Simple.

Profound.

Deep.

It’s the road less traveled.

It’s the pathless path.

Exciting.

Uncomfortable.

Unknown.

Hero’s journey.

One life to live.

My own.

Make it count.

Be my own man.

That’s who I am.
